Slum girls!!!

 Like you might be wondering why slum girls ,like why this heading. We all agree that life of people living in slum is very difficult but we don't know that life of girls in slum is much more difficult. In slum area there are people who follow their traditions, they carry old mentality. They do not consider girls and boys equally. They discriminate between them. For them boys are  like asset while girls are liability. They feel like boys are going to earn money and will do something for their family while girls are meant to just do household chores and one day she is going to marry someone and leave and will not do anything for her family. This mentality is so bad and disgusting that why only boys will earn money and help their family girls can also do that if they get a chance. MY EXPERIENCE!!!

It was my summer vacations and I decided to visit Mumbai . I decided to go solo driving  all the way from Ahmedabad to Mumbai. I woke up early in the morning and started my trip. It was a long drive. Finally at night I reached Mumbai and stayed the night in the hotel. Next morning I woke up and decided to go visit some places in Mumbai. On my way suddenly my car stopped in the middle of the street I tried to start it but it was not starting. I started panicking as people behind me were continuously honking and shouting on me. And then some people came and helped me. I asked them if i could get a mechanic and one of them answered that there was a mechanic across the street. I went to that mechanic and asked him if he could help me fix that problem. He checked the car and told me that it would take him 3 to 4 hours to fix it. I paid him and I thought of roaming there. While India’s economy continues to boom since the last so many decades it’s 360 million poorest citizens remain among those living in some of the most dilapidated conditions in the world. The slums have become the indispensable and dark side of our country, which we can’t boast of.    Slum can be defined as 'A residential area where dwellings are unfit for human habitation by reasons of dilapidation,overcrowding,lack of sanitation facility and having drinking water facilities in unhygienic conditions'.                       The problems faced by people living in slum areas: 1.
